How do you get there?
- Awareness – Start examining who you are at work. What thoughts are you having? What are you doing? How are you feeling? How are you acting? Write it all down. Try and get really specific as the more you understand this the easier it is to start seeing where change can take place.
- What would you like to be doing instead? What thoughts would be more helpful to you in your working day? How would you like to feel?
- Look at all of this with curiosity and without judgement. Consider closely what you would like to change. What thoughts would be more helpful? What actions could take you closer to where you want to be?
- Start by addressing some of the small things you have control over (including your thoughts!) and see how that snowballs and how your relationship to work can really begin to change
